Thousands of activists have joined the march from the Congress headquarters to Rajghat, wearing white clothes and Gandhi caps on their heads. Sonia will reach Rajghat directly due to health reasons. At the same time, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will lead the march in Lucknow. On the occasion of Bapu’s 150th birth anniversary, Rahul Gandhi said that the Father of the Nation has shown how love and non-violence is the only way for all living beings that we can defeat bigotry and hatred. From today BJP has started Gandhi Sankalp Yatra. The visit was flagged off by Home Minister Amit Shah.
