And now, the duo has decided to put the rumours to rest completely but in a unique way. According to media reports, the teacher-student duo is teaming up for a movie titled Vo Meri Student Hai.
Reportedly, the movie will be based on Anup and Jasleen’s real-life relationship wherein the renowned Bhajan singer will play the role of a teacher, while the latter will be his student. Interestingly, both Anup and Jasleen feel that the movie will clear all the misconceptions regarding their relationship and will also put an end to all the speculations. In a statement to Times of India, Anup said, “It will clear a lot of misconceptions in the minds of people about my equation with Jasleen. In the film, she comes to learn music from me and I will be seen asking her to dress up more appropriately, as I am from a traditional music background”.

On the other hand, Jasleen, who is also looking forward to working with Anup in Vo Meri Student Hai, said that this movie is their last hope to clear the air about their relationship. “Till date, people wonder about our relationship and speculations don’t cease. Yeh cheez khatam hi nahi hui hai. After ‘Bigg Boss’, I told everyone that I had just played a prank on the show and we have a guru-shishya equation, but people didn’t believe me,” the former BB12 contestant explained.
Talking about the movie, Anup, who is known for his Bhajans, will be seen rapping for the first time. While his fans will surely be surprised to see him in never before seen avatar, Anup explains that it will be a dream sequence where Jasleen will imagine him adapting her singing style.
