New Delhi: After the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Act 2019, the vehicle owners are scared. Those whose papers are complete are going on the road indiscriminately, but those whose papers are not complete, they are seen peeping around at every red light and somewhere the traffic policemen did not come and ask for the paper. The fear of invoicing thousands of rupees among the people is that before leaving the house, people are leaving every single paper check. But in the meantime, there are some people who despite their full awareness, are forgetting their paper at home in a hurry.

If you are also one of them, do not worry. If your papers are complete, then you will have to pay a penalty of just 100 rupees. According to the rules of the Motor Vehicle Act, if you have DL, RC of the vehicle, Insurance and Pollution Certificate, everything is up-to-date but due to accidentally leaving the house or somewhere else, the traffic police has cut your challan. But you do not have to worry about this, you can also cancel this challan.

According to the new rule, you can cancel your heavy invoice by paying 100 rupees. There is a provision in the Motor Vehicle Act that if you do not have documents at the time of challan cutting, you can cancel your challan by going to the planning branch within 15 days from the date of challan cutting. Under this provision, you only have to pay a fee of Rs 100. For this, you will have to show all your original papers in the planning branch.
If the document for which your challan has been deducted is complete, then your challan will be canceled from the planning branch. However, the condition for this is that the date on which your challan is cut, all your documents should be before that. After that paper, this rule will not be valid. That is, if your invoice is cut on September 1, then all your documents should be earlier.
