In the middle of the monsoon, the state has taken the Congo fever. So far 6 deaths have been reported due to the spread of the Congo virus. Lilaben Sindhu was killed in Jamdi village of Limbdi taluka of the state today, while a woman named Ambubhan was killed in Bhavnagar.
A 3-year-old woman from Kamlej village of Bhavnagar was admitted to Sir Tea Hospital in Bhavnagar on August 22 after suffering a fever. Here his blood samples were sent to the laboratory of Pune. But the woman was killed at two o’clock in the night before receiving further treatment, so that the duty doctor declared the death due to suspected Congo fever. But yesterday in the report from Pune it was officially clear that the woman died due to the Congo fever.
