The advisory for Amarnath pilgrims and tourists on behalf of the government was released after the press conference of the army. In this advisory, it was said that Pakistan’s terrorists are looking to target the Amarnath Yatra. The streets in Srinagar are crowded and long lines are installed outside the ATMs.
NIT Srinagar not closed
On the other hand, an order related to the National Institute of Technology located in Srinagar also created a lot of confusion. According to this order, the classes have been suspended and the students have been asked to leave. It has been said by the Srinagar DM that no such order has been issued. Already all school colleges in Srinagar are closed since August 1.DC doctor of Srinagar, Shaheed Iqbal, has stated that no order was given to close the institute or similar.
Extra flights will be operated
Now after all these conditions, the DGCA has asked all airlines to operate Xtra flights. In the order issued by the DGCA, all airlines have been asked to be ready to operate extra flights if required.
