Mumbai: Union Home Minister and BJP National President Amit Shah on Monday saw Lord Ganpati at the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Ganesh Chaturthi. Earlier, Amit Shah was welcomed by all the MPs, MLAs and corporators of Mumbai at the airport under the leadership of Mangal Prabhat Lodha, President of Mumbai BJP.
Shah stopped on the way from the airport to Sahyadri State Guest House and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at the Siddhivinayak temple. The Shah’s visit to Mumbai comes at a time when preparations are on for the state assembly elections. The assembly election date in Maharashtra has not been announced, but the BJP has intensified the election campaign even before the imposition of the code of conduct.
