A much awaited sequel to Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy that came out back in 2007 is now officially on floors. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are headlining Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that is going to be directed by Anees Bazmee. From the past few days, reports of Kartik and Kiara starrer going on floors soon were coming. Today, however, Kartik shared the first photo from the sets of the horror comedy sequel and officially kick started the shoot of the film.
Kartik took to social media to share a photo in which he is seen standing behind Kiara. Kiara can be seen holding the clapboard of the mahurat shot. Both the young stars look excited to kick start this journey on one of the most awaited horror comedies. In the photo, Kartik is seen sporting a hoodie, while Kiara can be seen clad in ethnic attire. A while back, Kartik’s first look was also shared on social media. Clad in the saffron outfit, Kartik looked eerily similar to Akshay Kumar from the 2007 film. With the same song, Hare Ram playing the background, the motion poster was revealed.
Today, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 officially went on floors and Kartik and Kiara will be filming the same. A day back, both young stars were snapped at Anees Bazmee’s office for a script reading session. Fans have been excited to see how Kartik recreated the horror in a comic way in the sequel of the film. The 2007 film starred Akshay, Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan in the lead. Now, the film is being helmed by Anees and is being produced by Bhushan Kumar. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will hit the screen on July 31, 2020.
