Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’s Mohit Malik remembers his onscreen mom & late actress Vidya Sinha: Will miss you babbe

Yesterday, Actress Vidya Sinha breathed her last in Mumbai as she passed away after a prolonged illness. Actress Vidya Sinha, today, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala actor Mohit Malik got emotional as he took to social media to post a video of Vidya Sinha and alongside the video, Mohit wrote, “Miss u babbe.” While Mohit Malik plays the role of Sikander Singh Gill in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Vidya Sinha played his mother in the show and having shared screen space in the show, Mohit was very close to her. Vidya Sinha passed away on August 15, 2019 after a prolonged illness as she was admitted to the hospital a few days back and was put on ventilator.

Ever since Vidya was hospitalized, she was missing from the show and in an interview, Mohit had shared that he was hoping for her return to the show. In the interview, Mohit had said that she played his mother in the show and off screen, too, she was a mother figure as she was a constant support and always looked after him on the sets. “In fact, I used to tell my mother back home in Delhi that I have found someone like her on the set. Vidyaji had not been shooting with us for the last one month and when I visited her in the hospital a few days back, I was hoping that she would get better and come back to work. She also told me that she was missing work and was waiting to get back. I pray that her soul rests in peace. I can’t believe that she is gone. This has happened too soon,” said Mohit.

Vidya is well-known in Bollywood for her performances in films like 1978 Sanjeev Kumar starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kulfi Kukar Bajewala and Choti Si Baat and she made her comeback to films with Salman Khan’s Bodyguard.
