London: England fast bowler Ollie Stone will not be able to take part in the prestigious Ashes series against Australia due to a back injury. Stone has been ruled out of the season due to injury.

Stone was injured on the West Indies tour before the World Cup and had been off the field for some time.He returned in July and played his first Test match against Ireland. He took a total of three wickets in the first innings of the match at Lord’s. Subsequently, Stone was also included in the Ashes squad, but was not included in the 11 players for the first match.

However, he suffered an injury during training last week and dropped out of Lords.The BBC quoted Warwickshire Sports Director Paul Farbrace as saying, “We feel very bad losing them. Ollie did a great job in the 2018 season and this season could prove to be important for England and our team.”
