British boxers of Pakistani origin have also jumped into the Kashmir dispute. He visited the area near the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday ‘to demonstrate solidarity with the Kashmiri people’.

His visit to the place named Chakhoti, three kilometers before the Line of Control, was arranged by the Pakistani Army and he thanked the Pakistani Army for this.According to the report published in Pakistani media, he said that his ‘humanitarian journey is to raise the voice for peace’.

Khan, who arrived in Pakistan from London, said, “People are being oppressed. I was watching all this on TV in Britain. I cannot keep quiet on this. I will raise my voice against this.”It seems that a new fashion of traveling to the LoC to show ‘solidarity’ in the Kashmir case has emerged in Pakistan. Former Pakistan cricket team captain Javed Miandad has also said that he will “visit the LoC to show solidarity in the Kashmir case”.
