Amitabh Bachchan makes his debut in Marathi film industry with ‘AB Aani CD’

Amitabh Bachchan to leave you in awe of his work and the senior-most Bachchan manages to do that quite effortlessly with almost every film of his. Be it his intense voice or fine acting skills, if you are a movie buff there at least has to be one Big B film that is your absolute favourite. The 76-year-old actor is now venturing into the Marathi film industry which has time and again produced beautiful and concept-driven films. For his first ever Marathi movie titled ‘AB Aani CD’, Big B will be seen sharing screen space with another veteran actor Vikram Gokhale.

Since the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi is underway, the first poster of the film was presented to Mumbai’s famed Lalbaug cha Raja. Directed by Milind Lele, the film showcases the bond of friendship between Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram Gokhale. Amitabh will be in the lead role with Vikram Gokhale playing his friend Chandrakant Deshpande. Strikingly the film’s poster features Vikram Gokhale striking Big B’s famous pose and in the same get-up as seen in the actor’s famous song ‘Saara Jamana’ from the film ‘Yaraana’.

‘AB Aani CD’ is produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar and Planet Marathi and presented by Golden Ratio Films, KVR Productions and Krishna Persaud. Apart from Big B and Vikram, it stars Subodh Bhave, Sayali Sanjeev and Akshay Tanksale in the main roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres soon.
