In a surprising turn of events, Salman Khan announced yesterday evening that his film, Inshallah starring Alia Bhatt won’t be releasing on Eid 2020 like it was supposed to. This news left fans wondering as to why Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer has been pushed further. Inshallah is a unique and modern love story and is very different from Bhansali’s last few outings. As per reports, locations and other pre-production work was done and the shooting was supposed to kick off in September.

However, yesterday Salman informed all about the delay without specifying any reason. Now,Salman and Alia’s film has been delayed due to the script woes. As per the report, Bhansali had narrated only the first half of Inshallah to Salman and later the actor asked the director for the second half’s narration along with the climax. Since the post interval scenes weren’t ready, the release date was thought to be pushed. Also, another reason in the report stated that both Salman and Sanjay agreed that since Inshallah is a love story, it won’t have the same impact if it releases on Eid.

“Inshallah’ isn’t a staple Salman film. It doesn’t have over the top action or applause-inducing power-packed one-liners that Salman’s Eid releases are famous for. They both felt that it would have a more organic feel if it came out later in the year. As of now, they are thinking of December 2020 as the time to release the film.” Well, whatever the reason maybe, fans are surely little disappointed as Inshallah was a collaboration between Salman and Sanjay after 20 years. Hence, many were looking forward to see Salman and Bhansali working together again.
